Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ShipKit (the "Service"), operated by Hongwei Wang, an individual based in China. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. Accounts

You sign in with Google, GitHub or a code emailed to you. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service.

2. Purchases and refunds

A license is a one-time purchase, billed through our payment provider at the price shown at checkout. Once the payment clears we invite the GitHub account you connect to the private repository that holds the source code; keeping that GitHub account, and accepting the invitation, is up to you. Because the source is delivered immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except for a duplicate charge, a failure on our side to deliver access that we could not fix, or where the law requires one — see the Refund Policy. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the license it bought ends and repository access is removed.

3. The license

A license lets you use ShipKit to build and run your own products and your clients' products, as many as you like, for as long as you like, including commercially. You may change the code in any way.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the source code itself, alone or as a template, starter or boilerplate of your own, and you may not share repository access with anyone outside your team. A product you build with it may of course ship the code as part of that product.

ShipKit is original work by Hongwei Wang, who keeps the copyright in it. A license is permission to use the code, not a transfer of that copyright.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, probe or overload our systems, or resell access without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you upload. You grant us the rights needed to store, process and display it in order to run the Service for you, and nothing more.

If you believe something on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@shipkit.sh with the material, where it appears and your claim to it. We will review it and remove what infringes.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your data from our systems. We may close accounts that violate these terms, and may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after that means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in them takes away rights that the consumer protection law of the country you live in gives you.
